Hi, I'm Vanessa Dougherty! I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember — someone who finds meaning in color, texture, and the beauty all around us. Painting is more than a creative outlet for me; it’s a way to connect, reflect, and offer something beautiful to the world.
I’m also the founder of Restorative Permanent Makeup, where I specialize in medical and cosmetic tattooing — including areola restoration and scar camouflage. That work, like my art, is rooted in care, precision, and the desire to help people feel whole again.
Vanessa Dougherty Art brings both of those worlds together. A portion of every artwork sold goes directly toward funding pro bono restorative tattoo services for individuals who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
